Several lectures have been planned and will be held at the German Heritage Museum located at 4764 West Fork Road, beginning at 2PM. 29 January: “German Immigration Shipping Lines, presented by Russ Willoughby, German Ocean Liner Historian at the German Heritage Museum, 2PM. 19 February: “Boone County’s German Colony: The Early Settlers of Hopeful Lutheran Church,” presented by Micahel D. Rouse, Boone County Historian, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM. 18 March: “Turnvereine in the Greater Cincinnati Area,” presented by Dan Woellert, Turnverein Historian, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM. 15 April: “German Catholic Churches and Institutions in Cincinnati,” presented by Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann, GACL President and Curator of the German Heritage Museum, at the German Heritage Museum, 2 PM. The German Heritage Museum features exhibits highlighting the German heritage, and also provides information on the German societies of the region.
